Hat store Hut Weber crossed a very skittish line in Germany by using Adolf Hitler's iconic mustache and hair in a stencil ad to promote its hats. The [controversial image](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mwcurated) is right next to the equally [iconic and recognizable](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/etsys-christmas-ad) bowler hat and mustache of 1920's comedian Charlie Chaplin with the caption, "Its the Hat" right underneath Chaplin.

The print ad created by Serviceplan agency has generated a lot of controversy and plenty of publicity for Hut Weber I'm sure.
