There are quite a few gadgets on the market that offer this convenience, yet none have been as thoughtfully designed as this item. With one AC power point and two USB drives, the Quirky product could carry enough bulk to block a neighboring socket, counteracting the convenience that it's intended to provide. Quite cleverly, the adapter includes an extending arm that plugs into the wall and keeps the main bit of the device to the side. Another helpful feature of the Contort Power is that it aids with [cord management](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cable-managements). Its necessary thickness is taken advantage of with grooves for wrapping wires and cables when you take it on the go. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Multipurpose Charging Solutions:** The Contort Power combines three sockets and cord management to offer a convenient and efficient charging solution for multiple devices. - **Space-saving Design:** The Contort Power's extending arm design keeps it to the side, preventing it from blocking neighboring sockets. - **Enhanced Cord Management:** The grooves on the Contort Power allow for easy organization and storage of wires and cables. ### Where This Applies - **Electronics Accessories:** The Contort Power presents an opportunity for companies in the electronics accessories industry to develop multipurpose charging solutions with space-saving designs. - **Home Improvement:** The Contort Power's innovative design can inspire home improvement companies to create space-saving electrical outlets for everyday use. - **Travel Technology:** The Contort Power's cord management feature provides an opportunity for travel technology companies to develop portable and organized charging solutions for on-the-go use. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rotating Outlet Power Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oconnect-onestep.md) - [Sleek Compact Minimal Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-charger.md) - [Flexible Charging Adapters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flexible-charge-adapter.md) - [Outlet Transformed Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/powerbug.md) - [Contemporary Power Strip Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonbase-1.md) - [Cubic Mobile Device Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anker-3in1-cube.md) - [Clutter-Proof USB Power Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/usb-power-strips.md) - [Charing Gadget Expansions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plugable1.md) - [10-Port Nightstand Power Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plugable-ps10cc.md)
