E Architecture creates a strong eclectic interior, transforming this contemporary Victorian house into a beautiful structure that combines modernity and history. The home is located in Melbourne, Australia and is designed in such a way that the old and new components can be clearly distinguished from one another, while still intricately maintaining a complementary relationship. The refurbishment process is based on an [existing heritage building](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meadow-road). Dubbed St Vincents Place Residence, B. E Architecture worked from "the front facade's 200-millimeter-thick masonry wall" to create a design-friendly and livable contemporary Victorian house for the owner. The redesign boasts four levels, including a sizable [rooftop terrace and a basement](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basalt-house). Clean, minimalist and timeless, the modern elements integrate themselves seamlessly into the Victorian narrative.
