Created for [Scandinavian design company](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fogias-collection) [Room Copenhagen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-x-room-copenhagen), these are elements that are celebrated by such a culture. Although absolutely functional, the form of each item easily takes over, encouraging people to put the contemporary kitchenware on display proudly for all the world to see, or at the very least their friends and family. Comprised of containers, bowls, cups, jugs, plates and other contemporary kitchenware, the collection is full of [soft rounded shapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juno-collection) that give it its charming appeal. Although each piece can be used and owned on their own, they work beautifully together both practically and aesthetically. The home will never be the same with these around. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 26% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Playful Minimalist Kitchenware:** Opportunity to create contemporary kitchenware that combines playfulness and minimalism, appealing to design-savvy consumers. - **Functional Form as Display:** Disruptive innovation in creating kitchenware that balances functionality and aesthetic appeal, encouraging users to proudly showcase their tools. - **Harmonious Kitchenware Collection:** Trend towards creating collections of kitchenware that work together both practically and visually, providing a cohesive and stylish look in the home. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Design:** Design companies can explore the opportunity to create contemporary kitchenware that embraces playfulness and minimalism. - **Retail:** Retailers can curate kitchenware collections that enhance both functionality and visual appeal, offering a holistic and stylish solution to consumers. - **Home Decor:** Home decor brands can incorporate functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchenware into their product offerings, catering to consumers seeking harmonious and stylish home environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sleek Modular Kitchen Essentials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-away-collection.md) - [Artful Creative Kitchen Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atelier-collection.md) - [Sustainable Kitchen Gear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/legni-collection.md) - [Sophisticated Modern Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-furniture-design1.md) - [Artfully Functional Home Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ilan.md) - [Minimalist Designer Kitchen Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/usm-kettle.md) - [Modular Multifunctional Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pronto-and-alto.md) - [Vibrantly Designed Playful Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hem.md) - [Dynamic Snapped Cookware Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/space-series.md)
