This extraordinary piece merges both bronze and [slabs of marble](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-frammenti) in the most elegant way possible. The juxtaposing materials are coated on a four-legged coffee table which features both materials contrasting against each other. The marble -- which has undergone a specific cutout treatment -- is placed atop the table's bronze background and looks as if it is seeping into the metal. This innovative design uses cutting-edge techniques along with traditional aesthetics to create a contemporary coffee table. Designers can witness this table at the Design Miami 2015 showcase which runs From December 1st, 2015 to December 6th, 2015. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Avant-garde Design:** Embracing unconventional and experimental design ideas can lead to disruptive innovations in the furniture industry. - **Mixing Materials:** Exploring the combination of contrasting materials, such as bronze and marble, opens up opportunities for unique and eye-catching designs. - **Cutout Treatment:** Using specific cutout techniques on materials like marble can create visually striking and innovative designs. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** The furniture industry can adopt avant-garde designs and explore new material combinations to create disruptive and visually appealing products. - **Art and Sculpture:** Experimenting with cutout treatments and material juxtaposition can lead to innovative and boundary-pushing art and sculpture designs. - **Home Decor:** Incorporating avant-garde furniture pieces with unique materials and designs can transform home decor into a statement of individuality and creativity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wavy Sculptural Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables.md) - [Sculpture-Like Geometric Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skim-coffee-table.md) - [Raw Stone-Inspired Jagged Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fels-coffee-table.md) - [Blurred Bold Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blur-coffee-table.md) - [Fluid Topographic Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-table.md) - [Italian Material-Highlighting Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ria-coffee.md) - [Minimalist Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-coffee-table1.md) - [Topographic Wooden Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/topographic-coffee-table.md) - [Artful Stone Table Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tom-black.md)
