Embracing the cutting-edge approaches to contemporary art gallery architecture, New York-based firm [Diller Scofidio + Renfro](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-liberia) and local studio Woods Bagot produce the winning design for the development of an exhibition space in Adelaide, Australia.

The silhouette of the building is defined by [strong geometric volumes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yellamundie) that are predominantly rectangular. The slanted roof and the bright slated peek-a-boo facade create a sense of refinement for the structure that contributes to the overall vibe of the neighborhood.

Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Woods Bagot's vision for the contemporary art gallery architecture extends to curious elements like a "performance lab," a "super lobby" and "sky galleries." Without a doubt, these design aspects have an integral part in the uniqueness of the winning structure.
