Not only does it come with tons of [storage compartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tumba) for you to organize your DVDs, Blu-rays, and vinyl records, but you can reconfigure any of the parts to this [ever-changing fashionable furniture piece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gioco) on a whim. The Container Sideboard is designed by the talented Alain Gilles and is comprised of various parts made from Elm wood. The containers are lacquered and, as you can see in the pictures, you do not have to use every single piece of the Container Sideboard for the [entertainment system storage](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tacito-sideboard) to still look spiffy. I think I'd have a lot of fun figuring out interesting ways to stack the Container Sideboard. I could probably spend a whole afternoon playing real-life Tetris with these things to make sure everything was just right. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Modular Furniture:** There is an opportunity for furniture manufacturers to create modular furniture pieces that can be easily reconfigured to meet the changing needs and preferences of consumers. - **Smart Storage Solutions:** Developing storage solutions that are not only functional but also adaptable to accommodate different types of media items can revolutionize the organization of entertainment systems. - **Customizable Design:** Businesses can capitalize on the trend of customizable design by offering furniture options that allow consumers to personalize the look and arrangement of their storage units. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturers can capitalize on the trend of morphable media furniture by developing innovative products that offer flexibility and adaptability in storage solutions. - **Home Entertainment:** The home entertainment industry can explore disruptive innovation opportunities by incorporating modular furniture designs that enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of entertainment systems. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can take advantage of customizable furniture designs to create unique and personalized spaces for their clients, offering a wide range of storage options that can be tailored to individual needs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Offset Shelf Sideboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crazy-slice-sideboard-concept.md) - [Customizable Storage Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelved-modular-furniture.md) - [Sandbox-Like Modular Storage Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-storage-cabinet1.md) - [Twisting CGI-Designed Sideboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookscrew-sideboard.md) - [Modular Configured Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabinet.md) - [Modular Decor Shelving Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halblang-blendend.md) - [Modern Convertible Shelving Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blendend.md) - [Flexible Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brickbox-modular-shelving.md) - [Modular Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/original-modern-shelving.md)
