Wearables, blood panels and lab tests have made various aspects of physical health easy to measure, but the brain has been left behind, largely overlooked and underoptimized, but Connectome is determined to bring the same level of insight and care to cognitive health as to the body. The startup is working with researchers at Imperial College London to bring brain health monitoring to consumers, and it recently opened the doors to a brain performance clinic in Soho, London. “HRV and VO2 max exist for the cardiovascular system. Dexa scans measure muscle mass. Now brain measurement is possible too,” said Lucas Scherdel, Co-Founder and CEO of Connectome. “The brain is the largest untapped source of peak performance and longevity, and you can’t take care of what you can’t clearly see or reliably measure."

At this first-of-its-kind destination in the UK, individuals or organizations looking to support their athletes, members, or patients can book a scan, get insights into their cognitive performance, and track changes over time.
