Featuring a built-in camera and a variety of sensors, the D-Link DKZ-201S 'Komfy Switch' enables users to connect to it via their smartphones and instantly control not only the lighting, but also get live video from the location. Thanks to the embedded sensors, the D-Link DKZ-201S 'Komfy Switch' will let you know if it detects unusual sounds when you aren't home to keep you in the know if there has been a break-in. On the simpler side of things, the D-Link DKZ-201S 'Komfy Switch' will enable you to control your lights to ensure you never come home to a dark house again. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Connected Light Switches:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the home automation industry by creating smart light switches that integrate with other connected devices. - **Smartphone Control:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the smartphone industry by developing intuitive apps to control connected light switches and other smart home devices. - **Integrated Sensors:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the security industry by incorporating advanced sensors into light switches to provide enhanced home monitoring capabilities. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Automation:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the home automation industry by creating smart light switches that integrate with other connected devices. - **Smartphone Technology:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the smartphone industry by developing intuitive apps to control connected light switches and other smart home devices. - **Security Systems:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the security industry by incorporating advanced sensors into light switches to provide enhanced home monitoring capabilities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Intelligent Home Lighting Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nanoleaf-sense-controls.md) - [Retrofitted Smart Home Switches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switchbot-bot.md) - [Subtle Smart Home Switches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lutron-casta-diva.md) - [Smart Dial-Style Light Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-hue-tap-switch.md) - [Aftermarket Home Automation Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-home-automation-switch.md) - [AI-Powered Light Switches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tewke-tap.md) - [Light Switch-Upgrading Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evvr-inwall-relay-smart-light-switch.md) - [Socket-Concealing Light Switches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/l1-switch-system.md) - [Advanced Smart Home Interfaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-home-interfaces.md)
