Jakob Gómez of Monterrey, Mexico, took a very unexpected angle, producing a sleek piece that almost completely conceals its function. First of all, the base of the bullet-shaped card stand can be removed to reveal a tiny dish for stashing secret items. The upper portion of the office accessory is a stack of tapering rings that form a [pointy cone in stainless steel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/postmodern-cone-watch). It's between these metal bands that bits of paper can be securely tucked. Seven circular slots can accommodate at least that many company credentials; however, you can fit multiple into the larger lower rings of the [Conicos Card Holder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noteanote). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Sleek Desk Accessories:** Opportunities exist for companies to design and produce minimalist desk accessories that conceal their function while adding a stylish touch to the workspace. - **Multi-functional Office Supplies:** Designers can innovate by creating office supplies with multiple functions, such as the Conicos Cardholder's discreet secret compartment. - **Tech-enabled Desk Organizers:** There is potential for technology to be incorporated into desk organizers, allowing for digital storage and easy access to contact information through mobile devices. ### Where This Applies - **Office Supplies:** The office supplies industry can capitalize on the rising demand for stylish and multi-functional desk accessories to offer customers more options. - **Design and Manufacturing:** Design and manufacturing companies can explore innovative ways to create desk accessories that blend style, function, and technology for a modern workspace. - **Technology and Mobile Devices:** Technology and mobile device companies can create products that easily integrate with modern desk accessories, allowing for seamless contact information management and storage. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Conical Headphone Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reckcone.md) - [Folded Metal Sheet Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldy.md) - [Customizable Trading Card Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trading-card-holders.md) - [Weather-Versatile Conical Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conicent.md) - [Minimal Compact Pen Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/serenity-pen-stand.md) - [Stackable Tower Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cyl-desk-organizer.md) - [Minimal Storage Tray Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spiral-tray.md) - [Freestanding Metallic Eyewear Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eyewear-stand.md) - [Pill-Shaped Pen Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/void-pen-pot.md)
