As more and more office spaces and studios adopt an [open concept design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arches-screen), micro-environments such as Confessions by Nick Ross offer a great way to maintain an area for privacy where colleagues can conduct intimate meetings, individuals can hold discrete phone calls and more. The Scottish/Swedish designer, who is currently a graduate student at Konstfack in Stockholm, has kept it very minimal in order to disclose the often serious dealings occurring within.

Designed in collaboration with [Blå Station](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-cube-chair), Confessions by Nick Ross is made out steel and oak that has been covered with [sound-absorbing pressed polyester felt](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixels-1). According to Ross, Confessions "reminds us of what we lose in the era of shared and open communication," while providing a communal area to rectify the situation.
