The [angular structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-landscape) is made from white-painted concrete and works as a pumphouse primarily but also as a landmark for local farmers with a visiting appeal for tourists as well. It appears to be formed by various geometric forms with a thombus section and a sloped roof. Founder of Lin Architecture, Lin Lifend speaks to Dezeen about the notion behind the design, stating "For the local villagers we hope that it can be used as a ['lighthouse' for working in the fields](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/old-port-square), so that people can have a clear direction when they come to work in the fields or go home for a rest. For the tourists, we hope that they can use our space to feel the beautiful scenery of the field, to explore and discover the fun of the farmland."
