Perhaps it's the attractive combination of the fibrous vegetative forms against the strength and solidity of the [flower pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilt-planter) that hold them, but it's certain that these tiny 3-inch planters would succeed to infuse any space with a little life. Andrew Stuart of Obelisk crafts each of these stubby cylindrical vessels by means of hand casting and polishing. Every one is made to order so no two look exactly alike. The Concrete Moss Trio strives to remind consumers of the organic properties of even manmade objects. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Endearing Lichen Decor:** Opportunity for creating unique decorative items using lichen and concrete, combining organic and manmade elements. - **Handcrafted Planters:** Market demand for personalized, handmade plant containers that add uniqueness to interior spaces. - **Celebrating Organic Properties:** Increasing interest in highlighting the natural characteristics of materials, such as lichen, in design and décor. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Innovations in lichen-based planters can capture the attention of consumers looking for unique and organic home décor items. - **Handicrafts:** Hand-casting and personalized nature of the Concrete Moss Trio presents opportunities to tap into the growing market for artisanal and handmade products. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can utilize the charm of lichen jardinieres to add a touch of nature and organic aesthetics to their projects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Natural Moss Terrariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petite-foret-plus.md) - [Nature-Inspired Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-power-moss-wall-art.md) - [Luxurious Minimalist Planter Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-planter-set.md) - [Luminescent Mushroom Plant Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lunalite-solar-mushroom-planter-stake.md) - [Greenery-Inspired Textured Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leaf-textured-ceramic-vase.md) - [Water-Less Minimal Design Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/botnica.md) - [Stone Floral Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lithic-bloom.md) - [Oversized Colorful Dynamic Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tfm.md) - [Office-Space Luscious Planets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bisley.md)
