The island is both functional and minimal while drawing upon a utilitarian aesthetic that can be used in a variety of decorative interiors. The island is fashioned out a [single slab of concrete](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cadenza) that curves upwards to form a flat surface and is entirely supported on a single leg. The [shape follows that of a wave](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables), offering an unconventional design that houses several outlets as well as stove top. The concrete island eliminates clutter and embellishments by focusing on shape and material more so than decoration.
