The system features snapping components that can be linked with one another to create a music production solution that suits the needs of musicians seamlessly. Users can even position the system vertically to put it on display and further enhance its visibility during use. The conceptual 'MIDI' controller consists of a [parametric equalizer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/midimacro) on the top section along with five rotary control knobs below and a series of six light-up pads that are capable of playing an array of instrumental sounds from drum sets to synths. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 50% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Modular Component MIDI Controllers:** Opportunity to disrupt the music equipment industry by offering customizable and adaptable controllers that cater to unique user needs. - **Parametric Equalizer Controllers:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to develop controllers with advanced equalization capabilities. - **Light-up Pad Controllers:** Opportunity to disrupt the music education industry by creating interactive and engaging controllers for beginners. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Music Equipment:** Develop customizable and adaptable music controllers that cater to unique user needs. - **Audio Production:** Develop controllers with advanced equalization capabilities. - **Music Education:** Create interactive and engaging controllers for beginners. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Interchangeable Component DJ Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-dj-controller.md) - [Ultra-Modern MIDI Instruments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/midi-device.md) - [Modular Digital Creator Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intact-studio-vsn1.md) - [Gaming Console Music Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-switch-akai-pro-mpc.md) - [Modular Gaming Controller Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multiverse-controller.md) - [Cyberpunk DJ Console Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/midi-controller-concept.md) - [Stackable Modular Synths](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3tonic.md) - [Metaverse-Ready Controller Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-gaming-controller.md) - [Modular DJ Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twin-dj.md)
