Designed by Alessandro Zaghi, the extinguisher features a [circular design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aeroview-air-purifier) that can be mounted onto any surface in an office or home and makes operation in an emergency far easier. The unit can be worn over the shoulder like a bag with the [trigger held in the hand](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/butane-torch) to offer controlled fire suppression capabilities, which in turn does away with the clunky experience of traditional alternatives presently in use. The conceptual fire extinguisher was designed as a response to the need for design-conscious, user-friendly fire suppression equipment to place safety front and center. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 51% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Intuitive-control Fire Extinguishers:** Opportunity to develop fire extinguishers with intuitive controls for easier and more effective use during emergencies. - **Circular Design:** Potential for circular design to be utilized in various other products for improved functionality and user experience. - **Design-conscious Safety Equipment:** Market demand for user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing safety equipment, presenting opportunities for innovative designs. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Fire Safety Equipment:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in the fire safety equipment industry to create intuitive and user-friendly extinguishers. - **Product Design:** Opportunity for product designers to apply circular design principles in various industries for enhanced user experience. - **Safety Equipment Manufacturing:** Potential for manufacturers of safety equipment to tap into the demand for aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Shield-Style Fire Extinguishers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hussechuck-and-shield.md) - [Sustainable Fire Extinguishers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/checkfire-ltd.md) - [T-Shaped Remote Controls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sightless-remote-control.md) - [Tactile Smart Home Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/from-design-concept.md) - [Minimal Spray Bottle Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nube.md) - [Intuitive Touchscreen Remote Controls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touchsense-remote.md) - [Design-Conscious Space Heaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-heater.md) - [Sleek Smartphone-Inspired Flashlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whitt-flashlight.md) - [Multipurpose Metallic Spray Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spray-bottle-concept.md)
