Conceptualized by Dongjun Choi, the mouse features a completely ergonomic design that accommodates the way the hand naturally sits on the desktop. The three-button mouse spreads the navigation points across the device rather than concentrating them for just two fingers. This will support a better range of motion during everyday use and thus combat against feelings of stiffness or tension. The conceptual ergonomic mouse can be used in three modes and maintains a [contoured form](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smooth-mouse-concept) that was created by the designer after modeling with clay to achieve the best aesthetic. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 85% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Ergonomic Mouse Design:** The design of this ergonomic mouse offers opportunities to explore more comfortable input device forms in the computer peripherals industry. - **Multi-functional Input Devices:** The incorporation of three modes in this conceptual ergonomic mouse shows potential for input device designers to create multifunctional peripherals in the technology industry. - **Natural Hand Posture:** Designers in the computer peripherals industry could explore natural hand posture to offer better experiences for users in the future. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Computer Peripherals:** The conceptual ergonomic mouse offers opportunities for innovation in the design of computer peripherals that can improve users' daily experiences. - **Technology:** The use of contoured form and multi-mode functionality in this ergonomic mouse could drive innovation in the technology industry for more comfortable and efficient input devices. - **Product Design:** The use of clay modeling to achieve the ideal ergonomic design offers opportunities for innovation in product design for creating functional products that prioritize user experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Health-Conscious Mouse Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergo-ergonomic-mouse-concept.md) - [Strain-Reducing Computer Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-mouse.md) - [Custom Calibration Computer Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergonomic-computer-mouse.md) - [3D-Printed Mesh Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/squishy-mouse.md) - [Ergonomic Swiveling Base Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/braun-ergonomic-mouse.md) - [Sculpted PC Peripheral Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-magic-mushroom-mouse.md) - [Ergonomic Wrist Rest Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/allin-ergonomic-mouse.md) - [Discomfort Prevention Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vertical-ergonomic-mouse.md) - [Ergonomic Digital Creative Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microsoft-palm-mouse.md)
