Unveiled to the general public at the 2018 Dusseldorf Caravan Salon event, this particular concept motorhome is built on a Renault skeleton. Perhaps its most eye-catching and crucial feature is the Smart Room, a slide-out module that can be opened up to reveal a spacious living and socializing space. Elsewhere, the Lippert Components concept motorhome offers a fold-out platform that functions as a sleeping space for pets, as well as a bathroom compartment that takes up more vertical than horizontal space. With this degree of attention to detail, it's no surprise that this concept motorhome is being touted as a game-changer thanks to its ability to maximize features without compromising on space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Space-saving Motorhomes:** A trend in the motorhome industry where innovative space-saving features are used to create roomier interiors. - **Slide-out Compartments:** A trend in motorhome design that utilizes sliding mechanisms and retractable chambers for increased space and versatility. - **Smart Room Modules:** A trend in motorhome innovation where slide-out modules are used to create spacious living and socializing areas. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Motorhome Industry:** The industry that designs, manufactures, and sells motorhomes, which could benefit from incorporating space-saving features and smart room modules. - **Automotive Industry:** The industry that manufactures and supplies parts for motorhomes, which could provide components for slide-out compartments and other space-saving features. - **Interior Design Industry:** The industry that specializes in designing efficient and functional living spaces, which could offer expertise in maximizing the use of space in motorhome interiors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Family-Friendly Concept Campers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-campers.md) - [Duplex Camper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vanlife-camper.md) - [Expandable Off-Road Motorhomes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiver-x-expandable.md) - [Capacious Camping Trailers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capacious-camping-trailer.md) - [Rotating Truck Campers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/truck-campers.md) - [Pop-Up Caravan Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cfold.md) - [Watersport-Minded Concept Campers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/watersport-concept-campers.md) - [Pop-Up Multi-Room Camper Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunlight-vanlife-camper-van.md) - [Fully Expanding Camping Trailers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/berg-offroad-cx3.md)
