Tamer Koseli is an industrial designer who believes the sole purpose of a cell phone should be as a means of basic communication. That in mind, he created a mobile with [no superfluous frills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dumb-phone1), leaving out standard modern features like cameras, MP3s, videos, internet, email access or other multi media technology.

The **Need**, as Koseli named his [concept cell phone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meti), comes fitted with two screens. The first one is a touch screen and the second is an [OLED logotype](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-light-phone-iii) that displays basic information such as your phone book.

It's an interesting concept but most of us have gotten used to all the frilly add-ons. Going back to a phone without a camera, video capabilities or other media features is a blasphemous, cruel and unusual punishment.
