The industrial designer began work on this project before the unveiling of the latest GoPro Session models, making consistent suggestions for the improvement of the POV camera. Ideal for adventurous people who want to shoot extra high-quality videos and images, the GoPro Voyager has a longer casing that accommodates superior lens components, as well as a battery with a greater capacity. The user could capture clearer media for longer time frames between recharges. Furthermore, the entire body of this concept GoPro is waterproof, so it requires no protective cover and facilitates more mounting options. This improved model even integrates a [mode dial](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-osmo-action-6) to give experienced photographers the control that they desire. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 58% | Activity: 55% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Improved POV Cameras:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop POV cameras with longer battery life, superior lens components, and waterproof bodies. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Consumer Electronics:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create advanced consumer POV cameras with enhanced battery capacity, lens components, and durability. - **Photography Equipment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design professional-grade POV cameras with extended battery life, superior lens capabilities, and intuitive controls. - **Adventure and Sports Equipment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop rugged POV cameras with long-lasting battery power, high-quality lenses, and waterproof features for outdoor enthusiasts. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Compact Sports-Ready Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hero-action-camera.md) - [Point-and-Shoot-Inspired Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sony-cybershot.md) - [Branded Action Camera Go-Karts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gopro-gokart.md) - [Battery-Extended Action Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gopro-hero-12-black.md) - [Wide-Angle Lens Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xiaomi-mi-action-360.md) - [Portable Action Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hero-12-black.md) - [Illuminating Budget-Friendly Action Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gopro-lit-hero.md) - [8K 360-Degree Action Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gopro-max2.md) - [Blockish Multipurpose Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microsoft-lumia-action-cam.md)
