Drawing inspiration from the [popular video game](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hyte-persona-3) BioShock, CodiOdi has created an incredible [steampunk-inspired](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-fan-build) way to play the latest BioShock release. The design features many intricate details that include piping, buttons and gears that had to be cleverly welded and formed together. The result is absolutely stunning as CodiOdi does not spare a single detail. He even manages to convert the keyboard into a typewriter-like design. I could not even begin to imagine the amount of meticulous effort and time it took to create this wonderful computer case mod, hopefully we'll be seeing more inventive projects from this creator in the future. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 96% | Activity: 95% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/games) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Steampunk-inspired Computer Cases:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the market potential for custom, steampunk-inspired computer cases that cater to the niche gaming community. - **Video Game-inspired Computer Mods:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Tap into the demand for computer mods that draw inspiration from popular video games, creating unique and personalized gaming experiences. - **Retro Aesthetic in Technology Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop retro-themed tech products that combine nostalgic aesthetics with modern functionality, appealing to consumers seeking a blend of past and present design. ### Who This Affects Most - **Computer Hardware:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with case modders and designers to create innovative computer hardware that integrates unique, themed aesthetics. - **Gaming Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create gaming accessories that enhance the immersive experience by combining popular gaming themes with innovative design and functionality. - **Home Decor and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Tap into the rising trend of steampunk and retro aesthetics in home decor by designing tech products that seamlessly blend with the overall interior design of consumers' homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cyberpunk-Inspired Gaming PCs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xcube-gaming-mini-pc.md) - [Retro-Inspired PC Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro95.md) - [Popular Game-Inspired PC Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/persona-3-reload-y60-bundle.md) - [Timber eSports Computer Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cyberwood-pc-case.md) - [E-Waste Portable Game Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steam-deck-motherboard-case.md) - [Custom Anime-Themed Gaming Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kaiju-no-8-pc.md) - [Sneaker-Styled Computer Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cooler-master-sneaker-x.md) - [Retro-Inspired PC Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silverstone-flp01.md) - [Internal PC Case Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pc-case-desk.md)
