The Compact Camper Van is a [futuristic camper van](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elo-concept) designed by John Bridge and inspired by hot rods from the 1950s. The hot rod influence is obvious as the has a mean front-end that slopes down and a curvy body and roof. The outside of the camper van looks fierce, but I would like to see something (anything) with regards to the interior. Still, if the inside is anything like the outside then I'm sure that I won't be the only one who suddenly find themselves longing to live in a van down by the river. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 83% | Activity: 91% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Futuristic Camper Vans:** The design of the Compact Camper Van showcases the potential for futuristic camper van designs. - **Hydrogen Fuel-cell Vehicles:** The use of hydrogen fuel-cells in the Compact Camper Van highlights the disruptive innovation potential in the vehicle industry. - **Hot Rod-inspired Design:** The hot rod-influenced design of the Compact Camper Van opens up opportunities for unique and stylish vehicle designs. ### Where This Applies - **Recreational Vehicle Manufacturing:** The Compact Camper Van exemplifies the trend in the recreational vehicle manufacturing industry towards more futuristic and stylish designs. - **Alternative Fuel Technologies:** The use of hydrogen fuel-cells in the Compact Camper Van presents disruptive innovation opportunities in the alternative fuel technologies industry. - **Automotive Design:** The hot rod-inspired design of the Compact Camper Van brings forth opportunities for innovative and unique automotive designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Diminutive Electric Camper Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-camper-van.md) - [All-Electric Camper Van Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alpincamper.md) - [Penthouse-Topped Camper Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-minivan.md) - [Concept-Inspired Camper Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/offroad-camper-van.md) - [Compact Electric Campers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-camper.md) - [Hydrogen-Powered Campervan Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campervan-concept.md) - [All-Electric Camper Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/winnebago-erv.md) - [App-Connected Campervans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-campervan.md) - [Advanced Old-Fashioned Camper Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nissan-caravan-mountain-base.md)
