The blocks have a capricious shape that suits their functionality. With [interior designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apartment-v) such as this, designers cleverly demonstrate the magic that can be created in restricted spaces. Space is a great myth that many comfort-seekers long for while they ignore the importance of space efficiency. Functionality and convenience can be results in any given space with enough calculations and clever thinking. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 80% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Transforming Apartments:** As society continues to become more space-conscious, there is a growing need for transformative homes and apartments that can adapt to changing needs and utilize space efficiently. - **Capricious Interior Designs:** Capricious and playful interior designs that utilize transformative furniture and uniquely shaped spaces can add a sense of whimsy and excitement to otherwise mundane living spaces. - **Space Efficiency:** The importance of space efficiency is becoming increasingly apparent as living spaces continue to shrink.
