Researcher Jack Kassewitz claims that the human brain just isn't fast enough to compete with these intelligent animals, which makes the iPad a perfect tool to communicate with dolphins. Kassewitz says the end goal in using the iPad is to "develop a system of symbols and sounds that correspond to objects and concepts for dolphins and humans to communicate." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 18% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Animal Communication:** Developing innovative technologies and tools to facilitate communication with animals. - **Human-animal Interaction:** Exploring ways to bridge the communication gap between humans and animals. - **Cognitive Computing:** Utilizing artificial intelligence to enhance communication with intelligent animals. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Technology:** Developing specialized gadgets and software for animal communication. - **Research and Development:** Investigating and advancing the field of human-animal communication. - **Zoology and Marine Biology:** Applying innovative communication technologies to study and understand marine life. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pet-Specific Calling Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/calling-device-for-pets.md) - [Consolidated Eye-Tracking Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eyetracking-platform.md) - [App-Connected Dog Training Buttons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ipuppee.md) - [Tongue-Controlled Digital Interfaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/digital-interfaces.md) - [Interactive AAC Learning Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logitech-edu.md) - [Dedicated AI Tablet Applications](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gemini-app-ipad.md) - [Pet Communication Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluentpet.md) - [GenAI Pet Translators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/traini.md) - [Digital Craft Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-and-design-miami.md)
