State tourism boards the country over could really learn a thing or two from Justin Van Genderen's 'Comic Locations.' 'Comic Locations' are a set of posters depicting real and fictional [comic book cities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreamcanvas).

As expected, [Gotham](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pininfarina-b95-gotham) and New York City made the cut, but I was really surprised to see Neo Tokyo from 'Akira.' These [simple posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sen-donnan) appeal to nerds and norms a lot and would help drive up interest in almost any city. While the real-life cities in 'Comic Locations' should have no trouble with tourism, these types of posters could also work for smaller towns and states.
