The clash of the cable companies and the streaming services in years past have seen both sides embrace what the other has to offer, which is exactly what's at work with the Apple TV+ launch onto Comcast Xfinity platforms. The announcement sees the streaming service accessible for the first time through a cable service, which will no doubt help consumers to access content in a multitude of ways. This could help to further interconnect cable subscribers with streaming services and help those who might be holding out with easier access to the latest entertainment services.

The announcement of Apple TV+ through Comcast Xfinity will see subscribers who are new to the Apple-branded streaming service receive a three-month trial if they sign up before April 25, 2022.
