It is both a screen and a chair. People who live in small spaces will love having this dual function piece. Most of the time it can function as a [decorative screen or a room divider](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldseat). When there is a party, the front of the screen slides down and then [folds to form a chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-flap-chair) for extra seating. The Biombo is wooden. It seems quite lightweight so it is likely not meant for heavy-duty use. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 58% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Multi-functional Furniture:** The trend of multi-functional furniture opens up disruptive innovation opportunities for creating space-saving solutions in small living environments. - **Camouflage Design:** The trend of incorporating camouflage design in furniture provides an opportunity to create pieces that seamlessly blend into their surroundings, enhancing aesthetic appeal. - **Compact Living Solutions:** The trend of compact living solutions drives innovation in creating furniture that serves multiple purposes, catering to the needs of people living in small spaces. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The furniture manufacturing industry can embrace the trend of multi-functional furniture to develop innovative products that optimize space utilization and enhance convenience for consumers. - **Interior Design:** Incorporating camouflage design into interior design projects presents a disruptive innovation opportunity to create visually seamless and coordinated living spaces. - **Home Improvement:** The home improvement industry can tap into the trend of compact living solutions by offering innovative products and services that help homeowners maximize their living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Table-Equipped Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/migo-chair.md) - [Legless Floor Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bold-chair.md) - [Quirky Postmodern Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ebba-armchair.md) - [Practical Folding Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patan-chair.md) - [Dynamic Structural Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldont-chair.md) - [Collapsible Timber Sofa Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ospite-folding-sofa.md) - [Resourceful Multifunctional Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chameleon-furniture.md) - [Sliding Flatpack Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folio-chair.md) - [Multifunctional Modern Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/florian.md)
