In terms of aesthetics, the designs draw inspiration from the [moon's crust](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-phase-lamp) and are crescent-shaped columns. Olivier Vitry used [travertine and marble slabs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nau-design) as base materials for the creations. This choice delivers that distinctive texture that adds a touch of elegance and intrigue to the column lights. The glow that the MOONLIGHT luminaires emit is soft and delicate, appearing as if it's coming from within. The designer's commitment to bringing "beauty, harmony, and well-being" through his collections and this philosophy is reflected in the design of the MOONLIGHT luminaires. Olivier Vitry also makes the [column lights modular](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pyl-lighting), empowering individuals to mix and match the units.
