When [wireless](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fsl-wireless) is not possible there is good reason why most home decorators want to hide cables from electronics -- they are normally not aesthetically pleasing. With most stylish lights the design ends at the electrical cord. The manufacturer will usually not take this into consideration and will just add any old cable you could find at a hardware store. This is not the case with the Manba Lamp as it carries the philosophy to accentuate its colorful cord. The lamps come in a variety of soft and fun colors in green, blue and pink. As such, they almost appear to look like collectables. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Colorful Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop innovative lighting designs that celebrate colorful cords. - **Aesthetically Pleasing Cables:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create aesthetically pleasing cables for electronics to enhance home decor. - **Collectible Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design lighting fixtures that resemble collectibles, appealing to consumers' desire for unique and eye-catching home decor. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new ways to incorporate colorful cords and aesthetically pleasing cables into lighting products. - **Electronics:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop aesthetically pleasing cables that can be used for a variety of electronic devices. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create lighting fixtures that double as collectible items, catering to consumers who value unique and stylish home decor. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Monkey Knot-Integrated Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/small-knot-pendant-lamp.md) - [Vibrant Rechargeable Portable Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pop-lamp.md) - [Classic Cordless Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poldina-classic-lamp.md) - [Playful Table Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toto-lamp.md) - [Portable Cordless Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bonjour-unplugged.md) - [Conical Multifunctional Lamp Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-table-light.md) - [Ultra-Customized Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kala-lamp.md) - [Colourful Ambient Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ambient-lamp-design.md) - [Artistic Magnetic Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scacco-matto-lamp.md)
