Whether placed in the home of an equally vibrant individual or a young family, it will stand out in only the best ways. As playful as it is functional, the colorful cabinet is made up of doors that take on different colors including yellow, orange, pink and red. Designed by Swedish design firm Claesson Koivisto Rune for Casamania, the colorful cabinet collection is visually interesting not only for its use of [bright hues](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/draga-aurel1), but also [doors that come in various widths](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nelson-basic). Neither square or round, the designs almost look like a cartoonish caterpillar, which children in particular will love. Perhaps it will even become one big toy to them. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Colorful Furniture:** Opportunity for furniture companies to create bold and vibrant furniture pieces that stand out in contemporary living spaces. - **Playful Design:** Opportunity for designers to create creatively playful furniture designs that appeal to both children and adults. - **Customizable Cabinets:** Opportunity for cabinet manufacturers to offer customizable options in terms of color and door widths for personalized and unique furniture pieces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** Opportunity for furniture companies to capitalize on the growing demand for contemporary and visually interesting furniture pieces. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior designers to incorporate colorful cabinets and playful furniture designs into their projects, adding a unique touch to living spaces. - **Children's Furniture:** Opportunity for children's furniture manufacturers to create furniture pieces that are both functional and visually appealing to children, catering to their imagination and sense of play. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Colorful Smart Storage Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linea-storage.md) - [Sculptural Living Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cromatica.md) - [Funky Colorful Storage Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorful-storage-units.md) - [Dynamic Vibrancy Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porro-linea.md) - [Modern Tonal Cabinet Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/curved-cabinetry-collection.md) - [Colorful Dense Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joy-objects-1.md) - [Modern Glass Cabinet Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-glass-collection.md) - [Colorful Contemporary Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/runda-tables.md) - [Tropical Island-Inspired Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/weaver-cabinet.md)
