Developed by the [Alpha Motor Corporation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alpha-saga-estate), the Collaborative Adventure Mobility Platform (CAMP) is based on a modified version of the Alpha Rex [off-roading vehicle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/isuzu-basecamp-at35) with a [teardrop trailer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arb-earth-camper-us-edition). The setup would provide access to essential amenities like sleeping quarters and a kitchen to achieve something of an open-concept motorhome experience. The Collaborative Adventure Mobility Platform could create a compound virtually anywhere and could easily handle the rigors of life in the wilderness. This speaks to a desire amongst consumers to comfortably explore nearby areas and communities rather than going overseas. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 70% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Overlanding Lifestyle:** Brands can innovate by offering compact and convenient camping solutions for consumers who seek to explore nature on a regular basis. - **Off-roading Vehicle Modification:** There is a potential market for companies to offer modified off-roading vehicles for camping and overlanding purposes. - **Open-concept Motorhome Experience:** Brands can create camping solutions that provide an open-concept motorhome experience, offering sleeping quarters, kitchen amenities, and other essential amenities in a compact setup. ### Where This Applies - **Automotive:** Automotive companies can develop and offer modified off-roading vehicles for camping and overlanding purposes. - **Outdoor Recreation:** Outdoor recreation companies can create and offer compact and convenient camping solutions for consumers who seek to explore nature on a regular basis. - **Hospitality:** Hospitality companies can tap into the camping and overlanding trend by providing unique accommodations in nature, offering convenient and comfortable amenities for travelers who desire to be close to nature. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Adaptive Outdoor Living Trailers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karoo-adventure.md) - [All-Electric Camping SUVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hummer-ev-earthcruiser-camper.md) - [Duplex-Style Camper Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alphavan-off-grid-4x4.md) - [Nomadic Off-Grid Camping Trailers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arb-earth-camper.md) - [Adventure-Ready Overlanding Camping Trucks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/overland-campers.md) - [Transforming Camp Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elo-concept.md) - [Off-Grid Exploration Trucks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bedrock-xt2.md) - [Cross-Country Camper Trucks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camper-truck.md) - [Cubic Convertible Camping Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adria-mode.md)
