It is still a clock, but it is the aroma of freshly brewed coffee that does the trick. Simply pre-set your favorite coffee capsule and when the desired hour comes along, your cup'o'joe starts brewing. Sure, you will have a strong coffee smell in your bedroom, but with the CoffeeTime by Elodie Delassus, is that such a bad thing? ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 64% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Sensory Alarm Clocks:** Opportunity to develop alarm clocks utilizing senses beyond sound, such as smell or touch. - **Multifunctional Appliances:** Opportunity to create appliances that serve more than one purpose, such as an alarm clock that also brews coffee. - **Smart Home Technology:** Opportunity to integrate alarm clocks and other appliances with smart home technology for a seamless user experience. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Appliances:** Appliance manufacturers can explore creating multifunctional devices that serve multiple purposes and make life easier for consumers. - **Home Automation:** Home automation companies can develop solutions for integrating appliances into smart home systems for a more connected home. - **Hospitality:** Hotels and other hospitality businesses can incorporate sensory alarm clocks and other unique amenities to enhance their guests' experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bedside Alarm Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunrise-alarm-clock-coffee-maker.md) - [Coffee-Brewing Sunrise Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optimrise-sunrise-alarm-clock.md) - [Sense-Awakening Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/international-delight-cinnabon-alarm-clocks.md) - [Elegant Aromatic Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paramita-universal-alarm-clock.md) - [Coffee-Inspired Alarms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dunkin-x-hatch.md) - [Gentle Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-alarm-clock.md) - [Coffee-Themed Gift Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffeethemed-gift.md) - [Gentle Wake-Up Alarms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonderwake.md) - [Motion-Sensing Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-sound-clock-alarmo.md)
