# Space Pod Coffee Pots Pavel Stejskal's FEEME is One Sleek Coffee-Making Machine By Gil Cohen | Published 2013-08-09 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffeemaking-machine References: [industrialdesignserved](http://www.industrialdesignserved.com/gallery/FEEME/7534885) & [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/gallery/FEEME/7534885) When designing the FEEME coffee-making machine, design student Pavel Stejskal wanted to create a practical device that takes up as little space as possible while still being striking enough to capture people's attention. This futuristic-looking [space pod concept](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xpod) does all that and more, featuring a tight, [compact shape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kmini-mate-brewer) with elegant arches and smooth curves that make it hard to ignore. The coffee maker is divided into three sections, each one curving upwards gracefully to meet the rest at a rounded tip. Below the arch, a coffee drip pours freshly brewed java into a cup nestled below, with a drip-catching grid located at the base. The FEEME coffee-making machine currently comes in white or black with a bright splash of red lining the interior and highlighting its curves. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Compact Design:** Designing coffee-making machines with compact shapes and elegant curves can capture people's attention. - **Futuristic Aesthetics:** Incorporating futuristic-looking designs into coffee-making machines can make them visually striking. - **Drip-catching Innovation:** Integrating drip-catching grids in coffee makers can prevent spills and enhance user experience. ### Where This Applies - **Home Appliances:** The compact design and futuristic aesthetics of coffee-making machines can disrupt the home appliance industry. - **Kitchenware:** Coffee makers with innovative drip-catching features can disrupt the kitchenware industry. - **Interior Design:** Futuristic-looking coffee machines with elegant curves can offer disruptive innovation opportunities for the interior design industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bean-Shaped Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bean-coffee-machine.md) - [Speaker-Like Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-capsule-coffee-machine.md) - [Slick Minimalist Coffee Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-coffee-machine.md) - [Space-Saving Espresso Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-kaffe-demi.md) - [Galatic-Inspired Coffee Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duobo.md) - [Organically Curvaceous Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capsule-coffee-machine.md) - [Collaboration Coffee Capsule Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drip-pod-youbi.md) - [Single-Cup Workstation Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brewster-dcm5000.md) - [Compact Espresso Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/demi.md)
