While some may construe that idea as negative, it can only be interpreted as positive in this situation. By blocking out real life for a little while, people are able to indulge in a restfulness that could be considered second to none. Of course, the Cocoon Beach doesn't block out the important bits, such as its gorgeous surroundings. Although clearly meant for the beach, the Cocoon Beach could easily be placed by the pool or even in a pastured landscape. It takes on a [spherical shape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-outdoor-furniture), hence the bubble comparison. It is made out of a [waterproof straw](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shibumi-shade) and synthetic wire with a high density T6 aluminum framework. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 96% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Spherical Loungers:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a range of spherical loungers for outdoor relaxation, combining comfort with unique and eye-catching designs. - **Bubble-shaped Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create innovative bubble-shaped furniture for various settings, offering a secluded and tranquil space for users to unwind and escape from the outside world. - **Outdoor Retreats:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design outdoor retreats that provide a serene and immersive experience, utilizing privacy-enhancing structures and utilizing sustainable materials. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Outdoor Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce a range of futuristic and ergonomic outdoor furniture that enhances relaxation and promotes well-being. - **Hospitality and Resort:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate spherical loungers and bubble-shaped furniture into upscale resorts and hospitality settings to offer guests unique and unforgettable experiences. - **Wellness and Spa:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop outdoor wellness and spa spaces featuring bubble-shaped loungers, providing individuals with a peaceful and rejuvenating environment for relaxation and self-care. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Beachside Modern Daybed Setups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contour-daybed.md) - [Elegant Exterior Lounge Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lounge-bed.md) - [Wooden Structural Outdoor Bedes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hut-lounge-bed.md) - [Shaded Modern Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ufo-shelter.md) - [Transparent Floating Pool Loungers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/funboy-super-clear-chaise-lounger.md) - [Modern Cushioned Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pod-outdoor-seating.md) - [Bubble-Shaped Cribs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bubble-baby-bed.md) - [Comtemporary Lounge Collection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eclipse-series.md) - [Scandinavian-Inspired Floating Daybeds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poolsofa.md)
