Coronado explains that his favorite way to mix summer drinks starts with the coconut. Coronado begins with a whole coconut, a bottle of Bacardi Superior, crushed ice and a parasol. He then cracks the coconut open with a machete so that the tropical fruit can be used as a vessel for his drink. After extracting the water from the coconut, he adds crushed ice and two ounces of Bacardi Superior -- the number one rum for cocktails in the world -- to the shell.
