# Sports Figurine Coat Racks Rafael Rodriguez's Coat Rack Design Features Miniature Footballers By Laura McQuarrie | Published 2014-06-26 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coat-rack-design References: [gizmodiva](http://gizmodiva.com/home_improvement/football-coat-hangers.php) & [rs-barcelona](http://rs-barcelona.com/en/shop/rs-playtime/wall-champions-4) Wall Champions by Rafael Rodriguez is a fun coat rack design that takes the shape of a bar from a foosball table, except that each of the little players has been given arms so that they are actually helpful in holding your clothing. The vintage-style figurines have funny poses that make them look like they're mid-run—as does the sheen from the material of their skin. Perfect for [World Cup fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-world-cup-trophy), the [tiny football players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/football-series) come in a variety of team colors to represent teams like Spain, Argentina and France, with additional choices for more customization like skin color and gender. As well as a rack featuring multiple players side-by-side, Rodriguez' designs also include standalone players that can be mounted as [single wall hooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velto), although you get more cooperation and storage space from an entire team of coat hook players. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 92% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: South America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Sports](https://www.trendhunter.com/sports) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Sports-themed Furniture:** The market for sports-themed furniture can be disrupted by creating unique and practical designs that are appealing to sports fans. - **Functional Decorations:** There is an opportunity for furniture and home decor companies to create designs that are visually appealing while still serving functional purposes, like sports figurine coat racks. - **Customizable Home Accessories:** By offering customization options like team colors, skin color and gender, companies can attract consumers who prefer personalized home accessories. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture:** Furniture companies can incorporate sports themes into their designs, appealing to sports fans. - **Home Decor:** Home decor businesses can offer functional designs that serve a decorative purpose, like sports figurine coat racks. - **Customization Services:** Customization services can target the growing demand for personalized home accessories, like the customizable options available for the sports figurine coat racks. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful Foosball Toy Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-table-football-moc.md) - [Chinese Character-Shaped Coat Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/resting-coat-rack.md) - [Pop Art-Inspired Foosball Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rs4-home-x-hey-foosball-table.md) - [Sporty Climbing-Inspired Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grip-hanger.md) - [Playful Monkey-Inspired Coat Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monkey-coat-stand.md) - [Storage-Equipped Restaurant Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rack-chair.md) - [Limited-Edition Foosball Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/afternoon-light.md) - [Pull-Up Bar-Integrated Clothing Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rak.md) - [Football-Themed Collectible Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candle-collection-1.md)
