Unsustainable and illegal fishing in Belize has damaged the country's rich coral reefs. It is hoped that the use of drones could help reverse this. The drones were developed by the [Wildlife Conservation Society and Conservation Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tomorrows-vintage), an organization that develops low-cost drones for conservation applications. They are capable of flying autonomously for over an hour at a time, and offer a range of 50 km.
