A simple concept, this sofa can be folded down to create another type of surface that can either [accommodate more people](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prado) or even act as a small side table. C-Mode by Marija Cvetkovska, an interior designer based in Macedonia, is all about the simplicity of materials and shapes. The base is made out of lasercut wood that allows it to be as malleable as it is while the upholstery looks like a chocolate Cadbury Caramilk bar for that same reason. It is available in various colors including turquoise, green and blue. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Versatile Furniture:** C-Mode by Marija Cvetkovska shows the innovation of furniture that can adapt to various uses, creating opportunities for multi-functional designs. - **Foldable Surfaces:** The fold-down feature of C-Mode by Marija Cvetkovska presents an innovation in creating additional surface areas for seating or table needs, opening opportunities for space-saving designs. - **Simplicity in Design:** The simplicity of C-Mode by Marija Cvetkovska's materials and shapes showcases an innovation of elegant yet modern designs, opening opportunities for minimalist-inspired furniture lines. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** The innovation of creating versatile, foldable, and minimalist-inspired designs, as seen in C-Mode by Marija Cvetkovska, presents opportunities for growth in the furniture industry. - **Interior Design:** Incorporating versatile, foldable, and minimalist-inspired furniture designs, such as C-Mode by Marija Cvetkovska, can open up expandable and personalized capabilities for interior designers and architects. - **Home Decor:** The innovation of creating versatile, foldable, and minimalist-inspired designs, as seen in C-Mode by Marija Cvetkovska, showcases opportunities for growth in the home decor industry's minimalist-inspired product lines. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modular Eco-Sourced Cozy Couches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-transformer-couch.md) - [Collapsible Timber Sofa Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ospite-folding-sofa.md) - [Cocoon-Like Multifunctional Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/usofa.md) - [Envelope-Packaged Couch Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/couch-in-an-envelope.md) - [Versatile Sofa-Bed Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neptune-sofa.md) - [Modular Multifunctional Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hulala-home-elitenest.md) - [Compact Collapsing Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acordion-modular-sofa.md) - [Space-Saving Convertible Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coddle-luke-sleeper-sofa.md) - [Modular Coffee Table Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silky-sofa.md)
