# Drizzling Planter Companions The Cloudy-Belle Simulates a Light Shower Over Your Potted Flowers By Amelia Roblin | Published 2014-05-09 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloudybelle References: [tuvie](http://www.tuvie.com/cloudy-belle-accessory-encourages-your-children-to-become-little-gardeners/) & [cloudy-belle](http://www.cloudy-belle.com) The adorable Cloudy-Belle affords a delightful way to give your [indoor greenery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-irrigation) a drink. Most attractive to little ones, the playful product would be a wonderful tool for teaching children about a couple of phases of the water cycle. Made from white plastic, the top of the object has been molded to emulate the fluffy shape of a big billowing cloud. This part serves as the [water reservoir](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hemisphere), providing you with a filling hole on top and tiny perforations along the bottom. Connected to this is a colorful stick that you press down into the soil of your planter. With the Cloudy-Belle full, the liquid will gently rain down upon the dirt to allow for gradual absorption. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 70% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Indoor Plant Watering Accessories:** Opportunity for innovative products to enhance watering practices for indoor gardening. - **Educational Plant Care Tools:** Potential to develop interactive products that teach children about the water cycle and plant care. - **Functional Design in Planters:** Room for creative planters that combine aesthetics and functionality to enhance the gardening experience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Gardening:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in creating smart devices and tools to improve the efficiency of home gardening. - **Educational Toys:** Potential for educational toy manufacturers to create interactive products that promote learning through play. - **Home Decor:** Chance for home decor businesses to offer unique and functional planters that add a touch of design to indoor spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Self-Watering Smart Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leafypod.md) - [Self-Watering Compact Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patella-crescenda.md) - [Spherical Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-basil-selfwatering-globe.md) - [Futuristic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-klaustrafloria.md) - [Naturalistic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apot-selfwatering-planter.md) - [Medical-Inspired Plant Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-plant-life-support.md) - [Self-Watering Desk Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/posha.md) - [Uniquely Shaped Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-watering-plant-house.md) - [Climate-Controlled Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-flower-system.md)
