The Closeup City Hall project was launched to provide a marriage option for couples who are often denied state services, such as inter-racial, inter-caste, inter-faith, and same-gender couples. The couples that participate in the Closeup City Hall project will enter 'Decentraland,' a Metaverse application based on the Blockchain, to engage in virtual wedding celebrations.
