The Versus designer might have simply cut a stable central stand or a set of four identical legs as a support system for the piece of furniture, but this was not done. Instead, Samuel Wilkinson raised the [round MDF tabletop](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tangent-table) on a single wooden stem, attached at a surprisingly asymmetrical angle. It's fixed in the very middle of the surface's underside but it slants sideways with no hope of holding the object level, or even up at all. A long and slender piece of [powder-coated steel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intra-side-table) was bent in the center and wrapped around the skewed stalk of the Cloak Side Table.
