The unique set consists of seven various sized mint green water-resistant wooden discs that can be stored inside of a [terracotta pot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trader-joes-mini-can-foliage). When the coasters are not in use, they can also be built and arranged into different types of cactus-inspired shapes. A [birch plywood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/track-concept) top fits over the pot and holds the first disc into place, and through a unique design, each coaster can be securely arranged and locked into one another. Perfect for a display on any [coffee table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/topographic-coffee-table), this cactus-inspired project from Clive Roddy seamlessly becomes an instant complement to any decorated space with its interactive approach to design. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Customizable Coasters:** Opportunities for innovative, personalized coaster designs that can be customized to fit any home decor style. - **Interactive Home Decor:** A rising trend in home decor that incorporates interactive elements, such as transforming coasters into decorative shapes or arrangements. - **Functional and Decorative Design:** The demand for home decor products that not only serve a practical purpose but also add a decorative element to the space. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can leverage these coaster trends to create unique and personalized products that appeal to consumers. - **Woodworking and Craft:** Artisans and craftsmen in the woodworking industry can explore innovative coaster designs using different materials and techniques. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate customizable coasters into their designs, adding a unique and interactive touch to spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Turntable-Inspired Coaster Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/needledrop-coaster-set.md) - [Cork Coaster-Integrated Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polka-coffee-table.md) - [Warm-Toned Marble Coasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lusine-coasters.md) - [Astrological Drinkware Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zodiac-constellation-coasters.md) - [Barbie-Inspired Coaster Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barbieinspired-coaster-set.md) - [Smart Tabletop Coasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-tabletop-coaster.md) - [Multifunctional Plant Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-plant-planter.md) - [Multipurpose Workstation Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oakywood-wooden-cubic-pot.md) - [Stackable Cork-Made Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-cork-seating.md)
