The architect employed the use of state-of-the-art 3D structural modelling to achieve the home's steel frame and [cantilevered beams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/levitae-house), which allow for gorgeous views from every single one of the home's three floors. The views are further accessed by a set of [frameless glass doors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-ridge-house), which operate magnetically, on either side of the home. Inside, the home accommodates luxury features, such as a media room, glass elevator and, perhaps most impressively, a smart home system that allows the homeowner to more easily and efficiently control the home's lighting, heating, irritation, music, security and window blinds through their smartphone. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 85% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Smart Home Automation:** The integration of smart home systems allows for more efficient control of lighting, heating, security, and other home amenities through smartphones. - **3D Structural Modelling:** The use of advanced 3D structural modelling techniques in home design enables the creation of unique architectural features. - **Frameless Glass Doors:** The use of frameless glass doors enhances views and brings in natural light, providing a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. ### Where This Applies - **Home Automation:** The home automation industry can capitalize on the demand for smart home systems that offer convenience and energy efficiency. - **Architecture:** Architects can explore the use of 3D structural modelling to create innovative and visually stunning designs. - **Glass Manufacturing:** Glass manufacturers can focus on producing high-quality frameless glass doors to meet the growing demand for seamless and immersive indoor-outdoor living experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Off-Grid Oceanside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campos-studio.md) - [Ocean-Overlooking Perched Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-sur.md) - [Hillside Bay Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lagoon-view-residence.md) - [Stepped Hillside Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/b2a-architects.md) - [California Coastline Renovated Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-sur-house.md) - [Modern Architectural Seaside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/strandhouse.md) - [Elevated Coastal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monterey-home.md) - [Dramatic Clifftop Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-yuri.md) - [Meadow-Overlooking Sleek Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studioac-1.md)
