Following in the footsteps of Milan, Paris and New York, London is getting its first design destination called '[Clerkenwell London](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brick-from-a-stone).'

The space is somewhere between a retail space and an art exhibit, but offers creatives a refuge to see the latest in [niche design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/design-burger). The space combines the functions of an eatery, bar, library, [design gallery and furniture outlet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dudd-haus). Clerkenwell London can also be used as a small event space, and features a rotation of local and international works from jewelry to literature.

Certain themes remain permanent, for example the perfumery has its own in-house brand 'Synesthesia' and visitors can create their own scents. The space will have a diverse range of events, workshops, tastings and classes that cater to satisfy creative appetites.
