Originally launched in Fort Myers, the CLEO program has witnessed expansion into other regions, reflecting its success and relevance. Jack and Noah are committed to the growth of the initiative, aspiring to cultivate positive relationships with seniors in various communities. “It was our first time, and I did not know what to expect. We helped the residents to learn the basics of technology, such as how to use apps or work with emails,” said Jack Rostock. “We have many clubs at our school, but this was different, and we helped older people learn about computers.” Image Credit: Jack and Noah, CLEO ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 19% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Social Good](https://www.trendhunter.com/socialgood) > [Education](https://www.trendhunter.com/education) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Digital Literacy Programs:** Empowering seniors with essential digital literacy skills to bridge the generational gap and provide older individuals with the latest digital technology. - **Computer Literacy Education Outreach (CLEO):** Offering a unique mission centered on empowering seniors with essential digital literacy skills to bridge the generational gap and providing them with the latest digital technology. - **Expansion of CLEO Program:** Reflecting its success and relevance, the CLEO program has witnessed expansion into other regions to empower more seniors with essential digital literacy skills. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Education:** Empowering seniors with essential digital literacy skills to bridge the generational gap and provide them with the latest digital technology. - **Technology:** Bridging the generational gap and providing older individuals with the latest digital technology through essential digital literacy skills. - **Community Outreach:** Empowering seniors in various communities with essential digital literacy skills to bridge the generational gap and provide them with the latest digital technology. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tech-Based Senior Programs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/national-council-on-aging.md) - [Senior Technology Tutors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kamloops-partner-assisted-learning.md) - [Citywide Digital Literacy Programs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/digital-literacy-program.md) - [Social Good Computer Drives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/technological-barriers.md) - [Youth-Focused Accessible Digital Labs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/digital-labs.md) - [AI Boomer Mentor Programs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eldera.md) - [Youth-Focused Technology Programing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nasa-space-apps-challenge1.md) - [Student-Focused Laptop Repair Programs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chromebook-repair.md) - [Kid-Focused Digital Literacy Curriculums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/digital-literacy-curriculum.md)
