It may not strike any sweet notes itself, but it visually references the elegant splendor of a brass musical instrument. Designer Diogo Carvalho created this incredibly complex and graceful item for the Delightfull brand's collection, offering an obvious focal point in the center of a room while satisfying the criteria of both aesthetically pleasing and quite practical. It features 10 E14 lightbulbs of the thin and cylindrical variety, complementing the narrow tubular structure of the [bending and curving composition](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nova-light). Trumpet and trombone players would take particular pleasure in beholding the familiar beauty of the [chrome or gold-plated Clark Suspension Lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flor-de-bronce) over a dining table, a staircase or within a front foyer. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.8/10 - Popularity: 11% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Brass Embellishment:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating decorative light fixtures that incorporate brass embellishment for a visually appealing and elegant look. - **Musical-inspired Designs:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in designing home decor items that visually reference musical instruments to cater to music enthusiasts. - **Complex and Graceful Structures:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating decorative light fixtures that feature intricate and graceful structures to serve as focal points in interior design. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the interior design industry by incorporating brass embellishment in light fixtures and creating music-inspired home decor items. - **Lighting:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the lighting industry by designing decorative light fixtures with complex and graceful structures that are aesthetically pleasing and practical. - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the home decor industry by introducing music-inspired designs and incorporating brass embellishment in decorative items. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Music-Inspired Glass Blown Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miles-pendant.md) - [Orchestral-Themed Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/symphony-collection.md) - [Sculptural Glass Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tamar-grande-chandelier.md) - [Instrument-Resembling Coffee Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trumpet-coffee.md) - [Artfully Functional Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chant.md) - [Dynamic Hand-Blown Glass Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polaris.md) - [Horizontal Glass Sphere Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comet-pendant.md) - [Multifaceted Glass Crystal Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crystal-light-fixtures.md) - [Heritage Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crown-lighting.md)
