As part of the greater urban fabric of a continuous conurbation, your home can be treated simply as a private niche within a busy city. ALLT's Cityscapes Felt Tiles present a way for the complexity of the downtown core grid to be extended into your intimate world. Based on an elaborate pavement arrangement with a repetitive hexagonal module, the rubber-bottomed rug tiles reproduce an aesthetic similar to that of interlocking bricks. The creative system of carpeting is very easy to install. The Cityscapes Felt Tiles come in jagged diamond-like shapes that fit snugly together like puzzle pieces to lay out a seemingly seamless geometric pattern. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Urban Fabric Integration:** Replicating the intricate pavement arrangement of cityscapes in interior flooring presents opportunities for creating a seamless integration between urban and domestic spaces. - **Modular Rug Tiles:** The use of interlocking rug tiles with jagged diamond shapes allows for easy installation and customization of geometric patterns in interior design. - **Repetitive Hexagonal Modules:** The repetition of hexagonal modules in carpeting design offers opportunities for creating visually pleasing and visually engaging patterns in interior spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** The integration of urban aesthetics into interior flooring creates new design possibilities for architects, interior designers, and home decorators. - **Home Decor:** Modular rug tiles with customizable geometric patterns offer a unique and flexible way to enhance the aesthetic appeal of homes and living spaces. - **Flooring and Carpeting:** The use of interlocking rug tiles with repetitive hexagonal modules presents a disruptive innovation opportunity in the flooring and carpeting industry, offering a new approach to traditional flooring materials and designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Patterned Carpet Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contour-carpet-tile.md) - [Comfortable Inclusive Carpet Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modulyss.md) - [Weather-Resistant Hexagonal Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/asak-flyt.md) - [Customizable All-Purpose Floor Mats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-floor-mat.md) - [Custom Print Flooring](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flotex.md) - [Dynamic Flatwoven Carpet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matter-colection.md) - [Geometric Wood Flooring](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-kaleidoscope-collection.md) - [Dynamic Interchangeable Wall Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abyss-wall.md) - [Versatile Remolded Linoleum Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flaxwood.md)
