For those who thought the globular landscape and cityscape photography trick was impressive, get a load of the City Series by James McNabb of McNabb & Co., a design studio based in Pennsylvania. More than a [perspective-shifting image](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/future-memories-by-catherine-nelson), this exhibit revolves around physical sculptures that are based on the aesthetic of typical skylines.

Sculpted with a bandsaw, the City Series by James McNabb was originally meant to be [individual wooden pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hughmanity) that resembled tools or other strangely familiar objects. But the more McNabb made, the more the sculptures began to look like a miniature urban setting. From spheres and rings to glacier-like tables and basic blocks, the 'cities' take on many forms.

The City Series by James McNabb is made out of [discarded wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basket-sculptures).
