This device is a budget-friendly way for filmmakers to capture rolling and sliding shots. According to Jensen, capturing these shots is only currently possible by using bulky and expensive equipment. The CineSkates Camera Sliders are neither bulky nor expensive. The three small wheels are designed to mount onto the [GorillaPod Focus Tripod](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silence-corner-mambapod), which was chosen due to its durability and uniqueness. The wheels are designed to snap onto the legs of the tripod quickly and easily. The end result is an awesome and inexpensive [mobile tripod](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pro-tripod). In just *one day* Jensen reached his goal of $20,000 and then some. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Multimedia](https://www.trendhunter.com/multimedia) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Budget-friendly Camera Equipment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing affordable camera accessories that offer professional-quality shots. - **Mobile Tripods:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating lightweight and portable tripods that allow filmmakers to capture rolling and sliding shots on the go. - **Crowdfunding Success:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Utilizing crowdfunding platforms to quickly raise funds for innovative camera equipment. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Film Equipment Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing and producing innovative camera sliders and tripods that cater to the needs of amateur filmmakers. - **Crowdfunding Platforms:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating crowdfunding platforms specifically for funding and supporting projects related to the film and photography industry. - **Online Filmmaking Education:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing online courses and resources that teach aspiring filmmakers how to create professional-looking shots using affordable equipment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Motorized Dolly Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rhino-dolly.md) - [Powered Cinematic Equipment Dollies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinema-dolly.md) - [Powered Photography Sliders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/motorized-dolly.md) - [Motion-Tracking Smartphone Tripods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insta360-flow.md) - [Portable Tripod Attachments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ifootage.md) - [Machined Aluminum Smartphone Dollies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandmarc-motion-dolly.md) - [Modular Quad-Function Tripods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/versatile-tripod.md) - [Mountaineer-Approved Camera Tripods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pro-tripod.md) - [Compact Tripod Mounts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/platypod-extreme.md)
