# Cigar-Storing Whiskey Glasses The Corkcicle Cigar Glass Holds Your Drink and a Stogie By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2017-10-31 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cigar-glass References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2017/10/31/the-whiskey-whisperer/) & [rebrickerstudio](http://www.rebrickerstudio.com/) Whiskey and cigars go together perfectly, so the [Corkcicle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corkcicle-x-star-wars) Cigar Glass looks to merge them together in a new way that will be appreciated by connoisseurs the world over. The glass is the design work of Ryan Bricker for Corkcicle and features a squared design that has had a circular notch incorporated into the side portion. This allows a stogie to be perfectly positioned when it isn't being smoked to eliminate the need to place it on an ashtray. The Corkcicle Cigar Glass can also act as a way to smoke your cigar directly while drinking so long as it's long enough to extend through the entirety of the glass. The glass comes as the followup to the [Whiskey Wedge glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocktail-ice-sets) that was also designed by Bricker. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 68% | Activity: 76% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Whiskey-cigar Fusion:** The trend of merging whiskey and cigars in innovative ways presents opportunities for creating unique drinking and smoking experiences. - **Multi-functional Glassware:** The trend of designing glassware with multiple functions opens up possibilities for creating versatile products that combine different activities. - **Seamless Integration:** The trend of seamlessly integrating multiple elements within a single product offers opportunities to enhance convenience and user experience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Beverage:** The beverage industry can explore new avenues of product development by creating whiskey glasses that cater specifically to cigar enthusiasts. - **Tobacco:** The tobacco industry can capitalize on the whiskey-cigar trend by collaborating with glassware manufacturers to design innovative products that enhance the cigar smoking experience. - **Glassware:** The glassware industry can seize the opportunity to create multi-functional products like the Corkcicle Cigar Glass that enhance both drinking and smoking rituals. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dedicated Craft Cocktail Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybrid-cocktail-glass.md) - [Libation-Cooling Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diamas.md) - [Self-Measuring Cocktail Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elevated-craft-hybrid-cocktail-glass.md) - [Cocktail Smoking Cloches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smoking-cloches.md) - [Whiskey-Inspired Cocktail Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/awaz-glasses.md) - [Elevating Cocktail Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spirits-with-smoke.md) - [Captivating Tonal Drinking Glassware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/podio-cup.md) - [Stackable Chalice Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cali.md) - [Space-Saving Wine Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-splitglass.md)
